Reseach Visit
Making Appointment

All materials in the University Archives and Records Centre are closed stacks, not for circulation and must be consulted consulted on-site;

Contact the University Archives to set an appointment for research as our space is limited. Please make your appointment a week in advance due to off-site retrieval;

Inform our staff with the details of the research and the needed materials as much as possible for identification of the items.
Registration
Two forms of documentations are required for a formal registration, including:

A Registration Form which tells the nature of your studies/project;

A Photo ID i.e. staff / student card, Passport, Driver's Licence
General Rules and Guidelines at the University Archives

Researcher must sign in and out upon arrival and departure on the Register;

Wash your hand before entering the University Archives;

No food, drinks or plants and personal scanners;

Bags, coats and other personal belongings must be stored in locker;

We provide photoduplication services only with charges;

Photographs are allowed for open records and for private study research purpose only, a Photoduplication Form must be filled, singed, copyright must be followed and correct citation must be used;

No taking photograph of the space of the University Archives for security reasons

Do not lean on any books and documents;
-
Use appropriate reading supports;

Use only pencils, laptops or notebook computers for taking notes as ink will damage archival materialsl;

No photographs of the space and staff of the University Archives allowed due to privacy and scurity reasons;

Handling any materials with care. If not sure, just ask.
