University Archives

   The University Archives welcomes donations of both archival materials for the collections and monetary gifts to support our work.

  If you wish to support our Archives and Records and Information Management (RIM) programmes, acquisition, preservation work, internships, exhibitions, or special projects relating to the history of the University,  please contact Mr. Garfield Lam, University Archivist at hkua@hku.hk. If you, as our University Staff and alumni, wish to donate personal paper or manuscripts to the University Archives, please consult the Collections Policy to help you with some ideas on our selection criteria. ​​​We are particularly interested in student/staff life and documents and objects that given to any individuals, and materials that tell stories of the HKU alumni, especially photos, memorabila, diaries, examples of schoolwork, recordings of events or socical gatherings for filling gaps in our collecetions.
